LIS GREY
Functional Nutrition & Lifestyle Medicine
About Lis
Lis graduated with an honours degree in Biochemistry from University College London in 2004. During a wide ranging career that included work in industry and in public services she went through her own burnout journey experiencing a range of symptoms including insomnia and fatigue.
With her scientific background she turned to nutrition and lifestyle practice to get her body back into balance and realised these were aspects of her life that she needed to continue to prioritise in order to maintain her energy and wellbeing. Focusing on getting the right nutrients and regulating her nervous system, enabled Lis to find her way back to a good night’s sleep, restoring her energy levels and re-igniting her love of science.
Her journey led her to two further years of post-graduate study in nutrition, becoming a registered nutritional therapist. She continues to undertake a variety of further specialist training and continuous professional development. She is passionate about supporting others to take back control of their own health, utilising a functional medicine approach to investigate the root causes of symptoms and providing holistic and client-centred care.
